Bizmed Occupational Health Clinic is a specialized occupational health care facility whose objective is to provide comprehensive managed care services and products. We focus on controlling injuries/illness costs, including both medical and lost time/wage replacement expenses, by actively managing all participants in the workers' compensation system, including employers, employees, insurance carriers, medical consultants, and lawyers. Bizmed physicians are board-certified occupational medicine specialists. We also offer an array of non-injury services on a contracted basis to the employer. These services contribute toward the minimization of on-the-job injuries. Bizmed managed care-oriented approach is based on established protocols and peer review, prompt identification of potentially high-cost injuries, and rapid intervention in and intensive management of potentially high-cost injuries.
